Proline Website Terms of Use
Proline Quality Finishing P/L provides services requested by Customer Purchase Orders Only. These services are subject to the following Terms and Conditions, and Industry Standards:
PRICING:

- Proposals or Preliminary Costings are supplied upon the receipt of an email request or purchase order.
- Samples may be requested to give an estimate/firm price.
- Jobs Unseen: Described jobs not viewed or without complete drawings can only be estimated pricing and is subject to the final outcome.
- Aluminium Extrusion: Prices on extrusion are based on nominal length extrusion as supplied by the mill and surcharges may apply where cut lengths are processed. Cut lengths of material will be checked for QUANTITY ONLY. Details of shapes and lengths are still required but we will not take responsibility for checking this data. Job lot sizes where square metre rates are quoted are based on minimum paint perimeters of 100mm.
- Minimum Charges can apply to all quotes.
- GST: Goods and Service Tax (GST) will be added to the quoted price.
- All Prices are subject to change without notice unless otherwise stated
POWDERS: Similar colour names may vary in colour from brand to brand so where matching is critical brand names MUST be specified. Some powder stocks coming from interstate may extend lead times.
NON-ACCEPTANCE OF PROPOSED SYSTEM: Where the client chooses not to accept our recommendations for a system to meet the performance required in a given Service Category under Australian Standards then our warranty extent is purely for workmanship only and the client undertakes to indemnify Proline Quality Finishing P/L against any consequential loss.
CUSTOMERS MATERIALS:

- Fit for Purpose: Materials supplied for coating should meet Australian Standards in both design and fabrication. All alloys and pre-galvanized materials should be in pristine condition and free of oxidation, grease, oils, tape residue, and marker pen. Non-conforming materials will attract additional charges.
- Quantities: Goods are signed for quantity where practical to do so but where packs of goods are supplied and it is not practical to unpack and count at the time goods arrive then our receipt is for packs only and we do reserve the right to check unit quantities when work begins on the job.
- Pre-finished Material: A single powder coat application over pre-finished material such as Hot Dipped Galvanizing, Zinc Plating, Galvabond and other coatings to steelwork, can present with variable outcomes. Any further work required to help rectify unacceptable finishes will be an additional charge.
PACKAGING: Extrusion or similar items will be interleaved when required. Other goods will be wrapped where practical but where protection for transport or long haulage is required, arrangements should be made at time of ordering and costs will be to customer’s account.
LEAD TIMES: Arrangements should be made with the Customer Service Officer where specific delivery dates are required otherwise lead times will be at those prevailing when ordered.
RETURNING MATERIAL FOR RECTIFICATION: Where material is returned to us for reworking or correction, it is to be returned in the same condition it was received. Damage from mishandling can often outweigh cost of initial correction and extra work in rectification will be to customer’s account. Returning materials must be repacked so as to avoid additional damage to existing coatings.
INSURANCE: It is the responsibility of the client to protect their goods by Insurance while on our premises. Goods in transport will be covered by the Transporters Insurance where applicable. Regardless of Proline Quality Finishing P/L organising transport, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure goods are adequately covered. While every endeavour is made to avoid damage to the customers goods any such occurrence that results in repair or replacement of materials must be covered by the customers insurance.
EXTENT OF LIABILITY: The extent to which Proline Quality Finishing P/L is liable for rectification, for any reason, is to the extent of rework at our site only and does not cover removal, transport or any other costs incurred after goods have left our premises nor does it cover rectification costs where such defects or failures are a result of contaminations or finishes existing prior or subsequent to our processes whether known to Proline Quality Finishing P/L or not.
PAYMENT:

- Account Facilities: In the case of private companies, Director’s guarantees are a condition of account facilities. Accounts will be reviewed yearly for viability and the appropriate action taken if necessary. Any change in company ownership and/or ABN requires a new account to be opened.
- Terms: Unless prior arrangements are made, all POC (payment on completion) jobs are to be paid for before leaving Proline Quality Finishing P/L premises. Job values between: $500.00 – $999.99 require a 10% deposit and over $1000.00 require a 50% deposit. Jobs will not be scheduled for coating until deposit is paid. New account customers will have the first three (3) sales at POC while an account application is processed and Proline Quality Finishing P/L will advise, at its discretion of account facilities established thereafter. Thirty (30) Day accounts are due payable at the end of month following the month goods were completed. Seven (7) and fourteen (14) day accounts are due within the respective period from job completion.
- Methods: Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), Mastercard, Visa card.
- Overdue Accounts: Any overdue account may be subject to an immediate stop on credit facilities. An account in default may be charged interest at the current Bank rate + 2%. Any fees or charges, legal or otherwise attributed to the collection of outstanding monies will be added.
CLAIMS: Claims for credit or adjustment on any job are subject to a claim being made to Proline Quality Finishing P/L within seven (7) days from receipt of goods. Where product is put into service or in any way further worked on at the discretion of the purchaser, then the product will be deemed to have been accepted for its intended use.
OWNERSHIP OF MATERIAL: According to the State Legislative Act all material supplied to intended purchasers is still under ownership of Proline Quality Finishing P/L until all monies owed to the Proline Quality Finishing P/L have been paid for or other negotiations have been agreed upon.
